Music / Media / Brand direction / Digital experience

A louder visual identity for music discovery.

BandPress is a music-focused digital concept built around artists, discovery and connection. The brief called for a visual direction with enough energy to belong in music culture, but enough structure to support a product people could actually use.

01 / The challenge

The starting point.

Music platforms compete for attention quickly. BandPress needed a recognisable identity and a digital world that could make artists and discovery feel immediate without becoming indistinguishable from every other dark, high-energy music product.

02 / The approach

Making the right things clearer.

We built the experience around strong contrast, expressive colour and a mark that gives the brand a clear presence across digital touchpoints. The design language creates a flexible stage for artist-led content, while the underlying structure keeps the concept legible.

The work treats the brand and the product experience as the same conversation. The identity has to work on a screen, in a social context and alongside artist content. That led to a system that is bold enough to be memorable but modular enough to grow with the platform.
