A coastal identity with a sense of place.
Capstones Lookout is a refurbished two-bedroom apartment in Ilfracombe, positioned for visitors who want a comfortable base near the coast, beaches and local attractions. The project needed to feel specific to its place rather than like a generic holiday rental.

01 / The challenge
The starting point.
A hospitality identity has to do more than look attractive. It needs to establish location, atmosphere and confidence quickly, especially when visitors are comparing several stays. Capstones Lookout needed a memorable visual anchor that could carry the property across its digital presence.
02 / The approach
Making the right things clearer.
We drew on the lighthouse, coastline and local character to create a mark and visual direction that feel rooted in Ilfracombe and North Devon. The identity gives the accommodation a stronger sense of arrival and a visual shorthand for the experience it offers.
The concept is deliberately tied to the setting: a coastal viewpoint, the rhythm of the harbour and the recognisable language of the lighthouse. That gives the property something more ownable than a generic accommodation aesthetic and helps visitors remember it after they leave the booking platform.
03 / What we delivered
A system built around the real brief.
04 / The result
A distinctive identity that helps Capstones Lookout feel rooted, recognisable and ready to welcome visitors.
